Kim Purdy LAbt  is licensed and certified, as an Asian bodywork therapist  and certified classical homeopath.

Bodywork treatments are done on the futon, massage table, or Ashiatsu table ( barefoot shiatsu or its true name Ashiastu table (see blog).

Her bodywork certification is through the AOBTA (American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia), since 1990.

Licensed practitioner and establishment owner in Quincy, MA. since 1997.

In 1986, Kim was invited for a one year clinical internship at The Chronic Pain and Stress Relief Clinic, at the Lemuel Shattuck hospital, in Jamaica Plain, MA.; this amazing internship was under the directorship of  Dr. Ted Kaptchuk (Professor of Medicine and Professor of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Harvard- wide program in placebo studies and the therapeutic encounter (pips)

Her training includes Eastern medicine, Shiatsu, Barefoot Shiatsu Acupressure and TuiNa  massage. Sotai, (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation ); (PNF) physical therapy utilizing functionally based movement patterns with techniques of neuromuscular control function, Anatomy and physiology, including Chinese anatomy which includes knowledge of Acupuncture channels and acupuncture points and point combinations, and college level pathology requirement for classical homeopathic medicine, Jungian psychology  was part of my training as well.

Kim is trained in fire cupping, gua- sha therapy and moxibustion.

Over 1500 hours of CEU's such as acu point training ~ diagnosis through palpating the Hara~ Tuina for oncology as well as physical sports injury.

Being of help to people with physical, emotional or mental suffering, for decades.

Kim's passion is classical homeopathic medicine, and it has been her source for personal health and wellbeing of any number of complaints she has had in her own life.

Since 1983, Kim has only treated herself with homeopathic medicine, the last 'conventional' medication Kim had was in 1983.

Kim has lived a holistic life since turning her back on the dead end street of life in the conventional world of medicine, then and so far, stronger physically (maybe from being wiser,) than she was at 26.

Kim began studying classical homeopathy in 1997 at The New School of Homeopathy later The Renaissance Institute of Classical Homeopathy under the directorship of Dr. Luc DeShepper, (Doctor of Pediatric Neurology) DI Hom., CHom. Lic.Ac.

Dr. Luc is considered one of the foremost contemporary  Homeopaths and renowned international lecturers in Classical Homeopathy in the world.)

Kim received in classroom homeopathic certification in classical homeopathy in 2005 and her advanced management for ASD and behavior disorders; treatment and management in 2008, through  in 2010, understanding the neglected concept of dream interpretation in the homeopathic practice, through her studies with Dr. DeShepper, our school was originally at New England Acupuncture School, then later during our autism advanced education we traveled for in person classes to New Mexico, Colorado, Las Vegas and others, it was a lot of travel and a lot of the country seen but best of all, to be educated in all forms of medicine from a great and wonderful doctor to whom I owe so much to.
